This packet can be used while learning number patterns (2’s, 5’s, and 10’s). I teach kindergarten and it helped them visually while they were counting to also remember what the numbers look like. Included is activity sheets for each of the number patterns. They will be able to sort the numbers through counting. It can be used on a pocket chart whole group or you can place these in a math center or workshop.
Clothespin Matchup – each card has directions at the bottom, popsicles to count, and then use a clothespin to clip the correct number.
I have also included popsicle puzzles. Just print, laminate, and cut apart the popsicle. The students can count how many dots are on the popsicle and then find the stick to match. (B&W version is included as well).
