Five for Friday

March 21, 2014

This week has been a WEEK! A lot of you were either on spring break or heading into it. We don’t have it until next month. =( ANYHOO… my week has been full of coughing and sneezing. In the middle of all of that, we had 3rd quarter report card assessments this week. JOY! Here’s what I did get to do between that. Be sure to link up as well so we can check out how your week has gone.

We were absolutely astonished when the leprechaun man came in our room and left his footprints EVERYWHERE. This was the first year that I opted out of going all out. St. Patrick’s Day is one of my favorite holidays, but I was so sick on Monday. I also didn’t do the pistachio pudding because I have allergies and that totally just threw my vibe off. Lucky Charm graphing did make it in.

Thursday we made these suns with rainbow “rays” coming down. My kids begged to differ and said they were rainbow jellyfish. Whatever makes you all happy. So now on our door and the sides of our wall hold RAINBOW JELLYFISH. 🙂

My absolute FAVORITE time of the year. I love everything about spring. The birds. The weather. The sun. The flowers. The trees. The children playing. ALL of it. I love fall just about as much as I love spring however.

We made flowers and their teacher told them not to use any dark colors, but can you see how many of my kids actually listened? I didn’t care after like the third person picked up blue. I forgot to take an after picture, but they turned out SO stinkin’ cute.

SOOOO it’s totally not even a big deal, but it’s kind of funny. Guess who’s very random review ended up on Creative Teaching Press’ website. MINE! My comments on my CTP review from yesterday were added to their book buddy bags. HA! So freaking hilarious.
Have an awesome weekend everyone.

It looks like your kids had a lot of fun this week! The leprechaun footprints are so neat! I need to remember to do that next year with my two little boys. 🙂
