Hi friends!!! I’m back and linking back up with Jasmine from Buzzing with Mrs. McClain. This time, I have a topic for You Oughta Know that I posted about a while back and thought it would be a good refresher for those that just OUGHTA KNOW!
You Oughta Know how to quickly change your fonts when making a product, something for your classroom decor or just something for yourself. Have you ever started making something and by page 8 or 9 – you really do not like the font that you’ve used? Then, you click on each text box and change each font? Have you ever done that? NEVER AGAIN! There is a super quick way to change fonts while working in powerpoint. I’ve done this on my Mac and PC so everyone should be able to do this. Here goes…
I’ve been working on decor for my classroom and currently working on labels for my toolbox, library, and just stuff in general.
If you’re on the Home tab you should see FIND/REPLACE/SELECT. If not, it’s in your toolbar.
Select a phrase or a word that is using the font you want to replace.
Click Replace Fonts
The font name will automatically pop up as the selected font since you selected it.
Then, go to the second field (font) and select the font that you’d like to change it to.
Boom. Every single place in your powerpoint that you’ve used that font is automatically changed. Now, you can change your mind as much as you want on the font that you’re using. I LOVE that I can do this and it doesn’t make me mad to change my mind after I’ve been working on something for so long and then decide on another font.
Done. Now, go change some fonts on some things and watch it happen in .0003 seconds.
